October 2024 — OPS 01: botted.wtf is born.
A single-operator independent watchdog launches with one purpose: audit live streaming engagement, expose the fakes, and publish the receipts.
INCEPTION
February 2025 — OPS 02: Parti caught hardcoding a view multiplier.
whiz exposes Parti for inflating concurrent counts via a hardcoded multiplier in their frontend bundle. Parti responds by moving it to the backend so it stays hidden from the public.
PLATFORM-LEVEL FRAUD
2025 — OPS 03: Pressure applied on X.
Hundreds of botted streams across Kick, Twitch, and Rumble exposed publicly throughout the year. The ratio model and CCV terminology start entering the broader conversation.
HUNDREDS EXPOSED
November 2025 — OPS 04: Kick starts cutting the KPP.
Kick begins removing partners flagged by botted.wtf and vouches to cut thousands more over the following year as the cleanup deepens.
KPP REMOVALS BEGIN
January 2026 — OPS 05: Parti collapses.
Sponsored streamers — Sneako, Myron Gaines, Jack Doherty — leave the platform once the money stops flowing. The frontend-multiplier story becomes a cautionary tale.
PLATFORM EXIT
March / April 2026 — OPS 06: Kick staff acknowledge the work.
Kick staff acknowledge botted.wtf and encourage whiz (and others) to keep exposing fraud across every platform. The model and terminology become the de facto standard.
